TERMS & CONDITIONS

General

This is a legally binding contract between the property owner and the guest. The property owner is also referred to as “we” and “us”.
The guest is the person who signs the booking form or, in the case of online booking, the person who makes the online payment. This person is responsible for ensuring all members of the holiday party accept and adhere to these terms and conditions. The guest is also referred to as “you”.

Bookings

A booking is confirmed upon payment in full along with either a damage deposit or the payment for a damage waiver.

Cancellation by the Guest

Cancellation of the booking by the guest should be made by email at hello@stay-coventry.co.uk
In the event of a cancellation, we will refund all monies paid in full if the cancellation is before 14 days prior to your check in date. Cancellations made within 14 days prior to check in will result in loss of monies paid. However, we strongly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance.

Cancellation by the Property Owner

The property owner will endeavour to make sure the stated property is available for the dates contracted. In the unlikely event the property becomes not available and the property owner has to cancel the booking, the property owner will endeavour to find the holidaymaker suitable alternative accommodation. If suitable alternative accommodation cannot be found, the guest shall be entitled to a full refund. The property owner shall only be liable to return the monies received. No compensation or consequential losses shall be paid.

Miscellaneous

Whilst every care is taken to provide a true and accurate description of the property, over time, alterations are made and some things do change. The guest accepts that no refunds are available for such discrepancies.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

The property owner reserves the right to enter the property, at a reasonable time, in the event of an emergency or remedial repair work being required.

The property owner is entitled to ask the holidaymaker to leave the property without any refund if, in the property owner’s opinion, the behaviour of the holidaymaker and/or his/her party is unacceptable.

The property owner reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone, who in the property owner’s opinion is not suitable to or capable of taking charge of the property.

The property owner reserves the right to ask the guest and their party to leave the property, without refund, should the behaviour of the guest and/or their party be considered by the property owner to be unreasonable.

Number of Guests

Guests shall not permit the property to be occupied by more than the number of persons stated in each booking. For any guests over the amount booked for will incur a charge of £100 per person per night provided that the number of guests does not exceed the maximum amount described in the property description.

Arrival and Departure Time

Every effort will be made to have the property available from 16:00 on the day of arrival. The property must be vacated by 10:00 on the day of departure. Late departure will result in an additional charge being made. Information about keys and how to collect them will be provided by email on the day of check in.

Liability

The property owner takes no responsibility for the personal possessions of the guest or the guest’s party. Vehicles and possessions are left entirely at the risk of the guest.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Cleaning

We would like to think the guest and party would treat the property as they would their own home and at the end of the stay the property is left in a clean and tidy condition. The property owner retains the right to make an additional charge for cleaning should the property not be left in a similar condition to the way it was found at the start of the stay.

Breakages

The guest should make every effort to keep the property, fixtures and fittings and all contents in the same state of repair and condition as at the start of the stay. Any accidental damage must be reported to the property owner and the replacement cost will be deducted from the damage deposit. This does not apply to guests who have purchased the damage waiver.

HOUSE RULES

  1. No pets are allowed in the building – sorry this is a regulation stipulated by the management company.
  2. No smoking is allowed in the apartment (even if the apartment has a balcony)
  3. Check in time is 16:00 and check out time is 10:00. On check out can you ensure that the apartment is left in a clean and tidy manner and that all the heaters and lights are turned off. Could you please bag up all of the rubbish and dispose of it in the skips provided in the parking area.
  4. Please enjoy your meals in the lounge/dining areas. No eating is permitted in bedrooms.
  5. Please leave all furniture and furnishings in the same way you found them
  6. While I want you to have a great time, please also be mindful of the neighbors on both sides of the house. Quiet hours are between 22:00 and 09:00. All music must be switched off by 22:00, and noise levels are to be minimized.
  7. Inviting unregistered guests onto the property without permission is not allowed. Doing so could result in your booking being terminated, and you will be asked to leave the property. If you would like to invite friends or family members over, kindly contact me first to let me know. A maximum of 3 visitors is allowed per day, and overnight visitors should pay an extra nightly rate. 
  8. We have teamed up with Superhog (know your guest) which is a guest screening and verification platform that deals with damage deposits or damage waiver payments. This is to protect us and our properties from accidental damage
  9. If there is accidental damage, however large or small, could you please let me know as soon as it happens so that we can remedy the situation in the shortest time possible.
  10. No drugs are to be consumed anywhere on the property at all. Failure to adhere to this rule will result in your stay being terminated immediately with no refund being paid. This applies to every member of your party.
